CTT Legacy Software’s Digital Fact Find
CTT Legacy Software allows our members and their customers to interact as never before, and pushes estate planning fully into the digital realm.
As with all things, changes lead to a better experience for the user; and so, based on adviser feedback, we’ve updated and improved one of the most vital components of the digital journey, Legacy’s digital Fact Find.
With a more intuitive interface, improved UI, and new features, the Fact Find gives advisers more freedom in their ability to interact with clients, providing you with all the essential information you’ll need to serve your customers to the best of your ability.
What is a digital Fact Find?
What if you could get to know your clients before you’ve even met them? This is the question that drove us to create the Fact Find as part of our Legacy Software.
Not only is it an extremely useful addition, it acts as the first step on a journey you will take with each and every client - one that begins with knowledge.
Get to know your clients before you interact with them, with a digital Fact Find. Learn, ahead of time, your client’s story so you can advise them on financial products that are laser targeted to provide them with solutions to their specific challenges.
Clients complete personal information forms as in-depth as they desire, the more details they add, the better your service to them will be. With this crucial information you come to them armed with bespoke solutions and are able to form a lasting relationship leading to further business and organic referrals.
What does the digital Fact Find do?
So, what are the advantages of using the Fact Find and by extension, Legacy Software for you and your business?
More and more businesses are moving to digital platforms as the benefits of going paperless become more obvious and well understood.
The savings on time and money are incredible, all by eliminating the need to record things physically. Legacy Software exists to translate estate planning into the digital space; for clients, they’ll take an entire digital journey, from first contact to ongoing service.
The Fact Find eliminates the need to procure paperwork questionnaires or have lengthy initial interview sessions just to find out what your client needs and wants.
This efficiency boosting programme enables you to have more quality time with clients, allowing you more time to speak with them face-to-face on important matters but also frees up time for other aspects of your role; put your full attention and focus where it is needed the most.
How does the Fact Find help you?
Get great results switching from paper to digital. The Fact Find is the first step in the digital estate planning process, but change can sometimes be daunting. Many estate planners are used to working a certain way and we can understand that; changing the way you do things can sometimes feel counterintuitive if a system that you’ve used for so long works for you.
But times change and if you don’t change with them, you risk not keeping up with industry trends and eventually losing out on business because your competitors are offering a service you cannot match.
This is something that has been on the mind of Caroline Sandford of Caroline Sandford Professional Estate Planning as she explained to us, ‘The job used to be paper heavy, admin heavy, not giving you the right time with your client; now with Legacy automating a lot of my processes, clients can do admin work themselves, upload it to the app and there’s a workflow waiting for me on a Monday morning that I’ve not had to touch. I’m able to concentrate purely on giving them the best service possible.’
Caroline is aware that estate planning isn’t everyone’s favourite thing to think about but because of Legacy, she’s finding new dimensions to her client interactions. ‘You’re talking about something that you don’t really want to happen,’ she explains, ‘what’s in place if that does happen? Because I’m getting more of that personal interaction, I’m finding more people view it as a positive experience, telling their friends and family that they had a great time doing their estate planning with us.’
Even if you only view it as a purely time-saving mechanism, it helps to free up the time to strengthen bonds with your clients; Caroline continues, ‘After they’ve done the Fact Find and uploaded their details, I produce a Recommendation Report. I always then do a zoom call, that actually might be in many cases the first time they’ve spoken to me. We then go through the Recommendation Report, and they find it more comforting that they don’t have to make a decision about everything in one go.’
As Caroline says, by using Legacy she has seen an, ‘increase in client appointments, and the increase in my turnover has been phenomenal; the only thing I’m doing different is using Legacy Software.’
Legacy Software, always improving
This latest update is one in a long line of improvements we’ve made to the software since launch. We’re always eager to make Legacy easier and more intuitive to use for both adviser and client, and relish the feedback we receive from both.
Adding value to your business and client interactions is the ultimate goal of our Legacy Software, and with the platform ever evolving, you can be sure that its ability to do this will only grow with time.
